The Concept Definition

A Relaxed Rooftop Experience Above the City

The Bavarian Haus concept is designed as a relaxed urban rooftop above the city—casual, comfortable, and naturally social. Rather than a high-energy nightlife venue, it is positioned as a place to unwind, enjoy a drink, and spend unhurried time with friends.

With open city views and an easygoing atmosphere, the rooftop offers a setting suited for both late afternoons and evenings. Guests can enjoy well-crafted cocktails, quality wines, and shisha (water pipes) in a space that encourages conversation, long stays, and a calm, sociable rhythm—without pressure or performance.

Cultural Storytelling

Rooftop Culture of Connection and Calm

Across cities around the world, rooftop bars have long served as informal social spaces—places to pause, meet, and unwind above the rhythm of daily life. At WU DU, the rooftop is imagined not as a spectacle, but as a relaxed urban gathering point where conversation and connection come first.

The inclusion of shisha draws from long-standing social traditions across the Middle East and parts of Asia, where sharing a water pipe is less about ritual and more about time—slowing down, staying longer, and enjoying the moment together. Within the rooftop setting, shisha becomes a natural extension of the evening, encouraging unhurried conversations and a calm, communal atmosphere.

Functional Minimalism
in Rooftop Living

The design concept of the Rooftop Bar is rooted in simplicity, functionality, and comfort. Inspired by contemporary German urban rooftops, the space prioritizes openness, clarity, and ease of use—designed for people to arrive casually, sit comfortably, and stay without feeling rushed.

Rather than decorative elegance, the rooftop emphasizes honest materials and clear structure. Industrial elements are kept straightforward and practical, balanced with warm finishes and thoughtful lighting. The result is a space that feels grounded, relaxed, and social—suited for long conversations, drinks, and unstructured evenings above the city.
